Natural order is an ever changing, ever evolving, fluid and never static phenomena that is consistently seeking balance. Our bodies and minds operate in a similar fashion.
When a new piece of information is given to the brain it sets about finding the place where the new input ‘fits’ in amongst the pre-existing data, eternally seeking equilibrium. When we experience an ‘aha’ moment, that frees us up to see things from a different perspective, our brain sets into action a series of mechanics to release any outmoded data that no longer ‘fits’, in order to create and restore balance. As long as there is new input, there is movement, so it stands to reason that a true state of balance is therefore fluid and not fixed. This reminds me of the saying, ‘it’s far easier for a train to change tracks while in motion than when it’s stopped at the station.’ How amazing we are!
